    Albatross, the propietary software used by Blue Raven is outdated, difficult to use, and not fully built out for dealers. The silver lining is Enerflo. However, the integration for Enerflo doesn’t provide a seemless experience.

    Finance options for TPO include Lightreach and Goodleap. There are several loan options including Goodleap and Concert but they vary by state.

  • Customer Onboarding Process: D

    Due to the complications with Albatross, multiple welcome calls and software not connectiing the onboarding process is not simple. Hi light is scheduling a site survey can be done over a phone call.

  • Pre Sale Support: F

    Currently no pre sales dealer support

  • Post Sale Support: C

    There is a phone number you can call for updates but it isnt staffed like it used to be and will leave you running around in circles

  • Non Standard Call Outs: D

    MPUs are called out frequently when other EPCs will find away around them. There is little support available to try and get around non standard call outs.

  • Pipeline Visibility: B+

    If you know how to use albatross then the visibility is very good.

  • Issue Resolution Efficiency: F

    Extremely difficult to get issues resolved. Many issues occur post install without any warning to the rep

  • Install Timelines: F

    Some of the slowest install timelines around.

  • Install Quality: B

    Blue Raven is known for stocking some of the best panels / equipment in the industry. The reason it is not an A is in markets where they use subs they have no control over their quality.

  • Funding Timelines/ Consistency: F

    Deposits are random. Often without any detailed explanation. sometimes they are prompt and others you have to chase them down to get paid.

  • Customer Facing Support: A

    One of the few with a dedicated customer support line

  • Customer Reputation: B

    Used to be strong but still has a pretty strong reputation and brand

  • Adders: D

    While the adder lists aren’t the longest the issue comes from them not knowing what the adders are and unknown adders being frequently attached to jobs

  • Margins: D

    Poor redlines coupled with mystery adders hurt margins

  • Install Footprint A

    Blue Raven combining with Sunpower gives them one of the largest install footprints in solar. The caveat is that many of their markets are subbed out.

  • Long Term Confidence: C

    While they are currently well funded we do worry about the long term financial health of a company that is ran so inefficiently

    Skip It! At this time we currently cannot recommend putting an account through Sunpower unless it is absolutely necessary.
